This includes data you may provide to us through signing up, when purchasing services and when sharing information with freelancers on the Temmluxe platform. This is to ensure that you are fully knowledgeable about why and how we use your data. This privacy notice is in addition to the other notices and is not intended to override them.

2.0 How we collect your personal data 

2.1 Direct collection of data through your interaction with our services 

During your use of our services you may provide us with information relating to your identity, financial data when filling in forms to complete payment and personal information such as your email, telephone number and address. This includes circumstances in which you : 

  • Create an account on our website
  • Purchase a service through our platform 
  • Provide us with feedback via email. 

3.0 About the data we collect about you 

We may also automatically collect Technical Data whilst you are interacting with our website relating to your browsing actions. This data is collected by Temmluxe . This is to help us understand how users interact with our website to improve the user experience.

We may store data that we collect for different types of personal data about you. Personal data/information means any information about an individual that can identify that individual. This subsequently is not inclusive of anonymous data. 

3.1 The types of data we may collect about you are as follows : 

  • Identity data including first name, maiden name, last name, username or any similar identification, date of birth, marital status, title and gender. 
  • Contact Data including billing and delivery address, email address and telephone.
  • Financial Data including bank account and payment card details. 
  • Transaction Data including details about payments to and from you and other details of services you have purchased from us. 
  • Profile Data including your order history for orders made by you, your preferences and feedback.  
  • Usage Data including information about how you use our website.

3.2 If you fail to provide personal data when this data is required to be collected by law, or under the terms of the contract we have with you and you fail to provide this data when requested, we may be unable to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter with you. In this case, we may have to cancel your membership with us.

Your personal data will only be used when the law allows us to. We will use your data in the following ways : 

  • When we need to perform a contract that you have entered into including when making purchases on our platform for services, and when providing your information when signing up for the platform as either a service provider (freelancer) or a client (buyer). 
  • Where it is necessary for legitimate interests.
  • Where we are required by legal or regulatory observation.
  • When we collect data through our analytics tools to analyse users online behaviour to improve our digital services

We do not rely on a legal basis of consent to process your personal data. You have the right to withdraw consent to the use of cookies on our website at any time by changing your preferences in the ‘cookie settings’ option at the bottom of the website page. 

5.0  Reasons why we will use your personal data 

  • To register you as a member on our website 
  • To use data analytics that are necessary for our legitimate interests. This includes improving our services, website and customer experience, to keep our website relevant and updated and to evolve our business to create informed marketing strategies
  • To process your requests including fulfillment of orders placed, payments, fees and charges. 
  • To notify you of updates and/or changes to our terms and policy 
  • To collect freelancer reviews for our legitimate interests to identify how to improve our services. 
  • To protect and administer our website to prevent fraud and to maintain the normal functioning of our website. This includes the application of troubleshooting, support reporting, system maintenance, data analysis and hosting of data. 
  • To use data analytics to help us improve our services, website and our relationship with clients. 

5.1 Changes to the reason why we use your personal data – We will only use your data for the purposes stated in section 5.0, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is in alignment with the original reasons.

In the event that we are required to process personal data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and explain the legal purpose for this. 

We may also process your personal data in alignment with the above rules without your consent or knowledge where this is required by law. 

6.0 Sharing Personal Data With Third Parties 

We may be required to share your data with third parties for some of the purposes stated in section 5.0 above.  We require all third parties to respect the security and privacy of your personal data by working in accordance with the law. We only permit third parties to process your personal data in accordance with our terms and for the specified purposes in which they have been intended to be used for.

We have put in place appropriate security means to prevent your personal data from being accidentally, lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way or being altered or disclosed. All third parties that we use have limited access to your data and will only process personal data on our instruction. We have in place procedures to deal with

  • We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes we collect it for. 
  • By law we have to keep customer information relating to contact, identity, financial and transaction data for six years

You have the right to : 

  • Request access to your personal information. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it. 
  • Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected. We may however need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us. 
  • Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing, where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. We may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which we will give you notice of, if applicable at the time of your request. 
  • Objection to processing of your personal data based on any third party or our legitimate interests and there is something about your particular situation that makes you want to object as you feel it impacts on your fundamental freedom and rights. 
  • Request restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy (b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it ( c ) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend claims ; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it. 
  • Request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party. This will be provided in a digital readable format. This right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you. 
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. This will not however affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you.
